Problem: People have become so accustomed to the summer heat that they’ve stopped noticing how it’s quietly eroding their local environment.

Solution: Paint heat-activated messages onto busy places in America’s hottest cities. When temperatures exceed 103 degrees, headlines that link the specific location to the grim reality of climate change will appear.
